04.08.08 - LATITUDE 2008 IS A SELL OUT SUCCESS!
"The site is stunning. It's certainly the most picturesque festival I've ever been too" Telegraph.co.uk
Lavish have recently returned from another hugely successful Latitude festival. With tickets sold out months in advance it promised to be a fantastic weekend, and it certainly didn't disappoint.
For the third year running Lavish were responsible for the iconic look of the festival - creating theatrical facades and decor for the arena tents; a contempory art exhibition in the woods; and for the first year, the 'Lavish Drawing Room' - a surreal drawing room set in the woods. The Lavish Drawing Room was not only the setting for acoustic sets from up-and-coming bands presented by Lavish, but was also adopted by ITV for interviewing acts from the festival, including headliners Franz Ferdinand!
Lavish also presented the breathtaking Music of Spheres who opened the festival in spectacular style with their awe inspiring floating bubble on the lake, 'The Irrepressibles' , who for the second year running played three sets with ever growing audiences, as well as flamenco sensation Rafael Amargo who performed a sunset set on the picturesque 'On the Lake' stage.
Keep your eyes peeled for a full write up on our Case Studies page, along with photos and film footage from the festival.

27.03.08 - LAVISH ROCK LAS VEGAS....NEXT STOP, PARIS!
“Equilibrium was, without a shadow of a doubt, the best attraction ever seen at Con Expo.”
Neil Smith, JCB Events & Demonstration Manager, The Americas
The Lavish team have just returned from a hugely successful trip to Las Vegas, where they produced a spectacular show for JCB at the world's leading industry exposition CONEXPO-CON-AGG. Delagates were treated to ‘Equilibrium’ five times a day for five days straight – wowing a packed out JCB stand and attracting a lot of media attention!
JCB were so thrilled with the success of the show that they have already commissioned Lavish to start writing a new show for Intermat in Paris, 20th – 25th April 2009.
A full write up on 'Equilibrium' along with photos and showreel can be seen on the 'Case Studies' page.

05.02.08 - LOOKING FORWARD TO LATITUDE
Lavish are looking forward to producing more iconic design concepts in their third collaboration with Latitude Festival, to be realised in the stunning Suffolk landscape for the exclusive enjoyment of those festival-goers lucky enough to snatch tickets before they sold-out!
Lavish were commissioned in the fledgling festival's first year by it's creator Melvin Benn to produce a unique & striking creative environment for the event. Selling out in the festival's second year, Lavish have been greatly inspired by the opportunity, which has given them the chance to produce pieces such as the infamous flocks of candy-coloured sheep, the theatrically styled horse-shoe arena, a forest hung with some of Britain’s coolest artwork, and the unforgettable lakeside performances of Lavish's baroque pop-orchestra, The Irrepressibles. So, make sure you snap up those last golden tickets for 2008, and prepare to be surprised, charmed, intrigued, and perhaps even a little bemused...see you there!
